Fresh Awards 2018 – NSW Finest Greengrocers
By: Admin On: 28 July 2018
The Greengrocer of the Year Awards are an important acknowledgement of the local businesses that provide excellent produce, unique brands and excellent service to their local communities all year round.
We congratulate the Winners of the Sydney Markets Fresh Awards announced this week. Particularly Parisi’s Food Hall Rose Bay, winner of both The Greengrocer of the Year and best Retail Presentation Award as well as being a finalist in the Best Large Business category. This result follows their huge success last year also taking out 2 categories as well us being a finalist in the Greengrocer of the Year.
Finalists were judged by industry experts and anonymous local mystery shoppers and judged on; store appearance, customer service, product knowledge, produce quality, range and freshness.
These local businesses offer an excellent personal service and high levels of product knowledge as well as the finest quality that you just don’t get in the major supermarkets.
Sydney Markets’ Fresh Awards Manager, Sue Dodd importantly commented earlier that “The Fresh Awards act as a timely reminder to all of us about the importance of shopping local and supporting high quality small businesses that contribute so much to our communities.”
